Reminder: when you shop, see us *before* you drop!

Booksellers are struggling.

Social media makes it ever harder to reach people.

Big internet sellers make it ever harder to make any money.

Yet we persist.

Autumn is Henry Bemis Books' drought season.  The cupboard's getting bare; the bank wonders how soon to send an overdraft notice. Autographed first editions aren't impulse purchases, nor do they top the Friday 4 am shopping beelines lists.

If there's an independent bookseller near you- new, used, and/or rare- help them- us- we- stay part of your communities.

Henry's e-catalogues available on request!
