For the feline fancier in your life, James Mason's book is the cat's meow.

The actor James Mason was not only one of the most popular international film stars for four decades, but he had a thing for cats. One of his two books was this now-hard-to-find whimsy, in which he reveals a human side belied by the languid menace of his film roles, as well as the drafting skills of a Cambridge-trained architect.

There is a cat-fancier out there who craves this book.

Kellino, Pamela, and Mason, James, The Cats In Our Lives (Current Books, 1st ed, 2nd printing, 1949). The writer/actor couple’s tale of felines in their lives. Mostly written, and entirely illustrated, by the actor James Mason (1909-84). The website cinemacats.com (yes, it’s real), notes, “The news media often reported on the couple’s menagerie of cats which shared their homes, first in Surrey, England and then in Beverly Hills.  So popular were the stories of the famous duo’s felines that in 1949 the Masons published a book entitled The Cats in Our Lives, written by Pamela and illustrated by James, which is currently a hard-to-find and somewhat high-priced title amongst collectors.”
