At Henry Bemis Books, we’re especially proud of our Carolinas/Regional inventory.

We’re genetic Tarheels. Our family arrived before the Revolution, irritable Scots Presbyterians who thought Sandhills must be infinitely better growing lands than the Hebrides, and spent centuries denying they were wrong.

Down-easters by birth, we grew up in the Piedmont and mountains. So North Carolina is, truly, our state.

For Christmas 2015, Henry’s offering everything in the Carolinas Catalog at HALF-PRICE. Mill town histories, biographies of great Carolinians; photography; history- even two copies of William S. Powell’s Encyclopedia of North Carolina. Whatever the listed price, we’ll sell it for half.
