“Book burnings. Always the forerunners. Heralds of the stake, the ovens, the mass graves.”

Time for the American people to purge their homes, State, and country of degenerate literature. This includes literature of Marxism, Communism, Bolshevism, literature with liberal, democratic tendencies / attitudes, and writings supporting the decline of Western Culture. Books on sexuality and sexual education which serves to indoctrinate the life of degeneracy, such as Cosmo and Teen Vogue should be brought to the fire as well. We will also burn the Koran, publications such as Karl Marx, and more. We must create a future without degeneracy for our children.
That's part of the social media promos for an Alt-Right book burning called for last week in Huntington Beach, California:

The Master Race's homeboys canceled the event, set for yesterday, after claiming they received mean threats from the subhumans on the Left. One of the organizers- Brian Enright the Third- explained on Facebook:
Public Statement regarding "Burning Degeneracy" event. I do not want to go into a long explanation at this time. The event was in no way intended to eradicate these publications, more a symbolic way of showing that we do not approve of what is being taught to our children and maybe that should have been made clearer, I do not endorse the censorship of literature or personal political views in any way. Due to credible threats of violence from the left this event will be canceled. Free speech in America is under attack and as much as I do not want to shut this event down due to strong personal convictions regarding free speech, I cannot be responsible for injury or death due to intolerance from the violent Socialists.
The most famous book burnings of the modern era were those organized by the Nazi government of Germany in May 1933, when propaganda minister Josef Goebbels presided over the torching of 25,000 anti-German books.

One striking dissimilarity with the snuffed-out Huntington Beach bonfire is that the Nazis actually knew what authors and works they hated:
Among the authors whose books student leaders burned that night were well-known socialists such as Bertolt Brecht and August Bebel; the founder of the concept of communism, Karl Marx; critical “bourgeois” writers like the Austrian playwright Arthur Schnitzler; and “corrupting foreign influences,” among them American author Ernest Hemingway.
The fires also consumed several writings of the 1929 Nobel Prize-winning German author Thomas Mann, whose support of the Weimar Republic and critique of fascism raised Nazi ire. Also burned were works of international best-selling author Erich Maria Remarque. Nazi ideologues vilified Remarque's unflinching description of war, All Quiet on the Western Front, as "a literary betrayal of the soldiers of the World War." Works by early German literary critics of the Nazi regime were also burned, such as those of Erich Kästner, Heinrich Mann, and Ernst Gläser.
Other writers included on the blacklists were American authors Jack London, Theodore Dreiser, and Helen Keller, whose belief in social justice encouraged her to champion the disabled, pacifism, improved conditions for industrial workers, and women's voting rights.
Jewish authors numbered among the writers whose works were burned, among them some of the most famous contemporary writers of the day, such as Franz Werfel, Max Brod, and Stefan Zweig.
Also among those works burned were the writings of beloved nineteenth-century German Jewish poet Heinrich Heine, who wrote in his 1820–1821 play Almansor the famous admonition, “Dort, wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man am Ende auch Menschen": "Where they burn books, they will also ultimately burn people."
All the beach boy firebugs can find is a moral and/or literary equivalent between the impenetrable works of Karl Marx (whose ideas have failed everywhere), the Koran (which they also haven't read and can't comprehend), and modern intellectual treatises like Cosmopolitan and Teen Vogue magazines (which, assuming they have read and understood them, suggests unresolved personal issues).

That's at least consistent with the wave of moral panic comic book burnings across America in the 1930s and '40s.

Like many, if not most, of the self-appointed, the Burning Degeneracy organizers are so vertebrae-deficient they almost universally don't use their own names to try to take back America. What if they win and sixteen Juan Cadavids show up demanding to be made dictator?

To have history, and race, and soil, and God, and white polos on their side, they sure are a buncha wussies.
